Elle Trusz

Ms Elle Trusz is the Program Management Specialist for Gender and Women’s Studies. She received her B.S. in Women’s Studies from the Pennsylvania State University in 2004. She has worked at a variety of agencies in the non-profit sector, from providing advocacy and assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, to teaching sexuality education to incoming first year college students as well as women in inner city Baltimore, and she worked on the Mental Health First Aid project. In her role as PMS for GWST, she is the point of contact and event planner for the annual Korenman lecture, she is the advisor for the GWST Council of Majors, Minors and Certificates, and she maintains the daily operations of the department.

Elle’s service to the University includes serving on the UMBC President’s Commission for Women, most recently as a co-chair, and she is highly involved with the Shared Service Center taskforce, including the newly formed Business Process Improvement workgroup.
