The Gender + Women’s Studies Program became the Gender + Women’s Studies Department in Fall 2013. To commemorate this event, we threw a party and invited our faculty, affiliate faculty, students, and colleagues who helped us along the way. We danced to music provided by local artist QueenEarth, and enjoyed refreshments. Plus, our very special guests Dr. Philip Rous and Dr. Freeman Hrabowski joined us to congratulate us and make a few remarks.
